The Phoenix Files: Arrival by Chris Morphew

Luke is not happy. His parents have divorced and now his mum has accepted a new job miles away from his dad, in a town called Phoenix.
Phoenix is owned and run by a single corporation, and it soon becomes clear to Luke that something about the place is very weird. No-one knows where it actually is (everyone flies in, in helicopters with no windows), there are no cars, no mobile phones and no internet. The town is too clean and the private police that run the place are too controlling.
But the worst is yet to come. Luke and his friends uncover a conspiracy that could mean the end of the human race and Phoenix is at the centre of it all. …and they have only 100 days to stop it. The first in a thrilling 6 part series, readers will not be disappointed.
